NCSSM Chances?

I'm a 9th Grader at Durham, North Carolina. I've heard that my region is fairly competitive considering that NCSSM is located here. In my school, they usually only accept 1. I heard last year 1 was accepted and another was wait listed and eventually got in. So, here's what I look like:

9th Grade Classes -
Biology Honors A (99)
Health Team Relations A (98) A required elective in my school
World History Honors A (98-100) Combined w/ English 1 Honors/Estimate of what I'll get
English 1 Honors A (98-100) Again, look above. So far I have 100, 99, 99 in this class
Algebra II Honors A (100)
Pre-Calculus A (96-100)
Word 2010 A (100) Required in my school
Health/PE A (99-100)

Summer Classes (Possible) -
Chemistry Honors
Spanish I

10th Grade Classes (Possible) -
AP Calculus
AP Environmental
AP Psychology
AP Bio/AP Stat Can only choose 1
Health Science 1 Required
English II Honors
Another AP Online Class I haven't decided on

Extracurriculars (9th) -
HOSA
Taekwondo
Lipdub Committee
Yearbook
AHEC
Student Body

Extracurriculars (Possible in 10th) -
HOSA
AHEC
Student Body (President)
Yearbook
Science Olympiad (Maybe)
Taekwondo
Libdub Committee (Maybe)

Volunteer -
Durham Regional Hospital (100+ hours) Trying to get Mayor's Award

No clue how well or bad I'll be able to do in the SAT. Another guy in my school got to take APES this semester so he's a little above. We're both ranked #2 but it only counted our 1st semester grades. He'll be bumped up by #1 after they count APES. He's also applying for NCSSM (Remember, they usually only accept 1 in our school). The #1 person took an online class that's why she's above us, after our AP classes she most likely be bumped down. This year there are 97 students in my class. Think I have a pretty good chance?

Btw, sorry if I seem like I shove my face in books. I actually procrastinate a lot, rarely study, and do have a social life.

You look competitive. It might come down to SAT scores. The fact that the other one applying from your school is a male might be to your advantage if you are a female. There are a certain number of spots per gender, because of dorm space.
Student Body President…as a 10th grader are you SBP for the whole school or should that read class president? Either way, that is good leadership.
Be prepared to consider why you ‘need’ NCSSM and what you can bring to the school.
Best of luck!

Class president, oops! My school doesn’t have an overall president  I’ll also be in office for HOSA and I do teach taekwondo. I hope I get in, it’s my dream school. Thanks!
