NCSSM Class of 2016- Future Applicants

TODAY IS THE DAY EVERYONE TODAY IS THE DAY

Only 12 hours left!!!

Today?!?!?! I’m not going to be able to concentrate all day. I’m going to try my best to keep the challenge. I’m going to be on here all day.
10HOURS.55MINUTES

i havent checked my uniapp account until like may 15

what cd are u from? @willsister1

Also, my dad was talking to me about NCSSM and he was wayyy more confident than I was. He said I WILL get in. This makes me wayyy nervous
But he also said that getting in will be easier than staying there alive.
It will be a lot harder to keep up with school work than Get INTO ncssm.

@pinkrose452 I’m from CD1
10HOURS.33MINUTES :-SS [-O<

I went on facebook looking for NCSSM stuff and found this “Class of 2016” group.
https://www.face book.com/groups/532867253485989/ (remove the space between “face” and “book”

It says we can start “joining” the group after April 7th. Not sure why though.

As a Class of 2015 parent, I just wanted to say “Good luck” to all the potential unicorns waiting on a decision today. The existing students and parents are already asking “When do we get to meet the new junior unicorns/families?” And, a Facebook Page is already set up. “NCSSM Classes of 2015 and 2016” Make sure to join it. The existing juniors will answer all your questions. It’s an exciting day. Also, there is a separate FB site for parents of unicorns “Parents of NCSSM Students (Past, Present, Future)” which is pretty active and can answer your parents’ questions.

Thanks @Skrunch!

@pinkrose452 Yeah, everybody here expects me to get in. I won’t know what to see if I get rejected. Agreed, my current school isn’t the best, so I pass all of my classes with high As and rarely have to study. I talked to an alum from my school that graduated from NCSSM several years ago, and she said the hardest adjustment was learning how to study. I’m wondering if it’ll be worth it to go if I can’t keep up with everybody from better funded schools. I’ve decided I’ll go because it’s a great opportunity, but it still scares me. Hopefully, I will be able to keep up.
