Hi guys. You know, I really had a feeling from the start that I wouldn’t make it, and turns out I was right. Congrats on the other guys though, you’re really lucky to make it in. I admit, I’m a little jealous…

I’ve already appealed. Hope I get to make it in. At first you don’t succeed, try, try again :D

@oceansnow MEEEEEEEEEE

@Theamericanguru did they show you the results for both of them?? Because it only showed my online? So I was wondering about that >_<

@pinkrose452 Thanks for the kind words. I was from CD9 and my grades weren’t so amazing either. Hopefully, though, you’ll make it. I’m not as upset as I was supposed to be, but you should check. Best to get it over with. If you make it, great. If you don’t, try to appeal so we can both try to get in together :)

I GOT IN!

To those who also got in - Congratulations! I will see you all next year!
To those who didn’t - Please appeal!

@oceansnow They only showed that I got into online, I don’t think they even review your application after you get into online.

I got in…but for online…
■■■■. I’m so upset.
I should’ve never applied for both, but I did (@oceansnow).

Does anyone know if I can appeal to go to residential instead of online?

@pinkrose452 Also, there really is no definite way to find out how to get in. The school picks randomly, which I guess is half the fun XD

So instead of getting into THE ALL MIGHTY SCHOOL OF SCIENCE AND MATH, I got into the ALL MIGHTY SCHOOL OF SCIENCE AND MATH Online Program. That’s cool… guess my 3.8 gpa didn’t cut it.

@trashboat I really don’t think there is. They have limited spacing, so I would guess you can’t. Ypou could always email them to find out, though.

@TheAmericanGuru @trashboat dang! Do you think we can still try to get into residential? Because I wanted that one more! Have you all accepted for the online?

Does anyone remember the important dates for those who appeal?

@trashboat It doesn’t really matter if you applied to both or just residential.They’ll still review you as any other residential applicant regardless of your choice. . . Unless you chose online as your first choice, then they don’t review you for Residential unless you’re rejected from online.

Anyway CONGRATS , Online is still a pretty big achievement!!! Last year they had a 27% acceptance rate, so this year it’s probably around 23-24%

@oceansnow I wouldn’t take the risk… besides, if we decline the offer and don’t end up in Residential, then we would lose BOTH opportunities.

But think about it!

It’s a WIN-WIN situation - You still get to stay at your home school and probably rank in top 10 while earning NCSSM credit! And you can still participate in NCSSM activities such as Student Government and SVSM (if you applied)

@theamericanguru well I think I’m going to call them tomorrow if I can? And ask about the results on residential and if they can’t help then I’ll go with online! But residential was my first choice so I thought they would put my result up for that :/

@oceansnow Okay, update me on what they tell you!!

@theamericanguru yeah! I will!

Any one else admitted into the Online Program???

Hopefully we’ll be the best of friends for the next two years :P

Not me, But I’m appealing for the residental program :D
