NCSSM: Lowest Safe SAT score for CD-4

<p>I am from CD-4(Raleigh/Cary). To get admitted into NCSSM, I need your advise. Taking SAT this Fall. **My questions are<a href="1">/B</a> "What is the minimum SAT(M/R/W) score that is considered as SAFE-SAT-SCORE for my district."
(2) "Is there any single criteria more important than other OR all are equally important in the order of GPA, SAT, EC, #of AP courses taken and what else"
(3) "Do they have any criteria how each schools are looked upon. For example if 20 persons are super good from one school, Does NCSSM selects only few from that school even though they have HIGHEST achievements/eligibility?"</p>

<p>Here is my resume:
9th grade GPA: 4.75 weighted, 4.0 UnWeighted. Expected to have similar GPA by 10th grade.*
10th grade AP courses: AP-Calc-AB, AP-Physics-B, AP-Biology and AP-GovtPolitics. No AP courses in 9th grade
Varsity Tennis Player. Played for "High School State Championship" this year*
Participant - Quiz Bowl
Member - Key Club*</p>

<p>depends on your school.</p>

<p>I’d say around 2100</p>

<p>but 2200 and up is optimal.</p>

<p>Thank you.</p>

<p>CD 4 is the toughest district, I believe. We heard that for CD4 and the Char-Meck area you have to bank on being able to market yourself beyond just being a great student…because great students with great SAT scores from great schools make up virutally all of the applicants from those areas. Therefore, it is important to also find other ways you will shine.
Sports, leadership, the arts…? Think about what your ‘package’ will include. What else can you ‘promote’? Your tennis jumps out…you were not just a recreational player but a varsity player in 9th grade by the looks of it. Keep it up…along with the great grades and high SAT!
