<p>im currently a freshman & plan to apply to ncssm next yr. can anyone tell me about how many people apply from my district, CD 13, just so i know what my competition will be like?</p>

<p>Please talk to several students you can trust before you apply to this school. It is not all it’s cracked up to be. If you are coming from a solid high school, you may find you’re better off remaining there.</p>

<p>But yes, rejected Asian male, ranked 5/515 at a competitive District 4 school that sends people to Stanford, Duke, Columbia, etc. </p>

<p>It’s not the end of the world if you don’t get in as shanidar said. People who got rejected from my school have made it to Ivy’s and Duke.</p>
