<p>Noticed status change on WolfPaw account from application "Submitted" to "Scheduled for Decision". Status was updated today at: 11/28/2012 4:20:56 PM. It notes decisions will both be mailed and will be posted on WolfPaw on Dec 15 at 7pm. Waiting is so hard!</p>
<p>Mine changed over last weekend to the same thing. Don’t know the exact date.</p>
<p>Only 13 more days! Anxious to see if I got in.</p>
<p>My S has applied for early action as well, he can’t wait to find out, and frankly I can’t either !!!</p>
<p>Do you all think that perhaps the decisions will come out on 12/14 this year since it’s a Friday. It seems odd to me that decisions are scheduled to come out on a Saturday evening, but I guess stranger things have happened.</p>

<p>Two years ago when my son applied they were posted a few days early. It was a nice surprise, so keep checking!</p>
<p>Thanks for posting slingshot, I really hope they post a little bit early. Tomorrow, I might just give them a call (if I can gather up the nerve–problem is, is that I’m a chicken at heart). If I do call, I will post an answer.</p>
<p>I applied EA as well and mine changed to the same thing. Just got into Purdue so my hopes are high for NCSU. Can’t wait.</p>

<p>Son’s Wolfpaw account status shows decision is ready. Says they will be released electronically at 7pm on the 15th. Since the 15th is a Saturday, not sure who would be working then. Sure hope for an early release…</p>
<p>Does it really say “ready”? Mine says “scheduled” and then all the 15th stuff.</p>
<p>You are right, southern. I was not being specific but the status is the same as I noted earlier, “Scheduled for Decision” which when I dug a bit, thought I determined that meant it was done and just awaiting notification.</p>
<p>A friend of mine posted her NC State acceptance letter on Facebook that she apparently got yesterday! So maybe letters will slowly be coming in the mail too?</p>

<p>Yeah it surprised me too. But it’s a legit acceptance letter so no idea why or how she got it early.</p>

<p>Well, I searched “NC State Acceptance” on Twitter and saw where a few other people have already got their acceptance letters… I too haven’t received anything and I wonder if that’s a bad sign or something. 
I didn’t think they’d be sending things out now, but apparently so.</p>
<p>No, I doubt there is a message to those who have not yet heard. I expect it is more to affirm those who are their strongest candidates, ESP as ED decisions are coming out at the same time for Va Tech which competes for many of the same students. Once an applicant receives an ED, they are obligated to accept it. I have this on no official authority; just guessing. </p>
<p>What is on official authority is NCSU admissions as of yesterday still insists the 15th at 7pm is notification time.</p>
