November 1st deadline has passed. This topic is for everyone waiting for decision. Feel free to ask questions. Please post your stats if you get admitted.
will it be until Jan.30 to release the admitted list? It seems that NC State University isn’t rolling admission
They push out some acceptances sooner. It seemed to be by cohorts in the past - competitive scholarships like Park in Dec, some majors, some colleges.
The real wait is on the final merit and financial aid package which took months. That was in late March I think. Similar timing to some other state flagships.
The school of design comes out early. All others typically come out third week of January.
Do you know when the school of design will send decisions?
Typically, a month before the other NCSU decisions. So, I am guessing will be by the end of Dec.

Did anyone hear from school? Any information to share. Thanks.
Curious to know if anyone is getting any emails from NCSU. Lots of email from other colleges applied to, but nothing much from them.
Nothing here. My daughter applied to COD.
Daughter got accepted tonight to COE. She is a Park Scholar Semi Finalist alternate which is why I think she got the acceptance.
Congratulations to your daughter!
+1 on acceptance COE… perhaps also Park related.
We have an OOS friend who found out she was accepted FYE enviro and as a Parks semi-finalist.
I’m accepted!
Congratulations! What major?
thx! computer science
Awesome!
Are you a contender for a named scholarship? Because as far as I can tell, regular EA decisions do not come out until Jan 30 or am I missing something here.
My daughter received a rejection from COD. She is surprisingly unaffected by it so I guess that’s good. She has a few acceptances from other programs but I preferred this one for her.
Best of luck to everyone else!
Sorry to hear that. I am surprised somewhat that is an outright rejection. Do you mind sharing her stats? It is good that she has other options. I assume in state applicant?
OOS, 4.32 W GPA, test optional, 10 honors classes, 5 dual enrollment classes, no AP because her school does not offer those, captain varsity sport, honor society, part time job, lots of volunteer work.
I don’t think she submitted a great portfolio, honestly. She’s very creative and I am not, so I’m not a good judge of a portfolio. But they specifically recommended digital work with an emphasis on problem solving and that’s not the type of work she submitted. I also don’t love her common app essay although I think the COD essay she wrote is excellent.
It’s a rejection for COD with an offer to still be considered for her non-studio secondary major choice, which she’s not interested in since she has other design school options.
