@Mirandarwallace I think it means that they still want to honor you even though you didn’t meet the standard (??) for a regional award

What can I do to improve my chances of getting a NCWIT National award?
I don’t want to start a national organization for girls in programming because I think that it’s already overused/overdone, but would love to do other STEM community outreach things within my area.

@Mirandarwallace I also got the certificate of distinction! I’m not too sure what that means 
@MangoLover11223 I still haven’t received anything in the mail from NCWIT about the national honorable mention, shouldn’t we have already received those? I did get my national honorable mention trophy at my affiliate ceremony, but other than that I don’t think I got anything for being a National honorable mention.
@equationlover yeah I haven’t received anything either which is a bit weird because in the previous years I’ve gotten mail. But, there has been a change in the organizers for my region so I’m assuming that has something to do with it? Honestly, I’m not sure, but no I haven’t received anything either.
