<p>IT WILL BE A BATTLE BETWEEN TWO STINGY DEFENSES, AND HIGH SCORING OFFENSES. BUT, LETS REMEMBER WHEN PENN STATE GOES ON THE ROAD, THEY ARE LESS THE MEDIOCORE. THE LIONS ARE 10-18 ON THE ROAD SINCE 2000. THE NOISE AT ND WILL DEFINITLY BE A FACTOR.
PENN STATE HAD A ROUGH GAME AGAINST AKRON. TONY HUNT ONLY MUSTERED 36 YARDS RUSHING ON 14 ATTEMPTS, REMEMBER ONLY A YEAR AGO HE WAS A 1000 YARD GUY. THAT TYPE OF PRODUCTION WONT GET IT DONT AT ND. (KINDA LIKE MY SAT SCORES).....SRY OFF TOPIC</p>
<p>PENN STATE MAY BE FORCED TO THE AIR, IN WHICH THEY WOULD RELY ON QB ANTHONY MORELLI WHO THROUGH FOR 200 YARDS AND 3 TDS. PENN STATE HAS A SOME TOP TIER RECIEVERS SUCH AS JORDAN NORWOOD AND DERRICK WILLIAMS. YET, IF PSU IS FORCED TO THROW, THE ND DEFENSE HAS PROVEN THAT THEY CAN STOP A QUALITY RECIEVER, AS SHOWN LAST WEEK HOLDING CALVIN JOHNSON (SOMEWHAT). I GIVE A SLIGHT EDGE TO THE ND DEFENSE, ONLY IF THEY ARE ABLE TO STOP TONY HUNT.</p>
<p>NOTRE DAMES OFFENSE CAN BE LIGHTS OUT, BUT THEY DIDNT SHOW THAT AGAINST GEORGIA TECH. If NOTRE DAME IS GOING TO WIN THIS GAME, THEY NEED HEISMAN TYPE PRODUCTION OUT OF BRADY QUINN. BRADY COMPLETED 61 PERCENT OF HIS PASSES LAST WEEK FOR 246 YARDS. BUT WITH NO TOUCHDOWN PASSES. I DONT SEE THAT HAPPENNING AGAIN THIS WEEK. IF PENN STATE HAS A WEAKNESS ITS THEIR SECONDARY, BECAUSE OF THIS I SEE BRADY THROWING FOR 400 YARDS AND 3 TOUCHDOWNS. </p>
<p>NOTRE DAME IS GOING TO HAVE A TOUGH TIME RUNNING THE BALL THOUGH. PENN STATE HAS ONE OF THE BEST LINEBACKER TANGEST IN THE COUNTRY IN PAIL POSLUSZNY, DAN CONNOR, AND TIM SHAW. ONCE AGAIN I GIVE THE EDGE TO ND. ND, PLAIN AND SIMPLE, IS FAR TOO TALENTED. BRADY QUINN AND THE ND OFFENSE LIGHTS UP THE SCORE BOARD AND THE IRISH DEFEAT THE LIONS 38-14</p>

Ben Olson threw for 300+ yards and 3 touchdowns no picks. I know he's a mormon, which is going to upset you romocathfascists but he's pretty good. Looks like someone put up some real Heisman stats, not like my fair Brady who didn't have a touchdown pass. <p>HA, you are debating me with UTAH? It is UTAH. You mention that number 1 overall pick two years ago but what has he done in the pros? Still waiting on that one. Also, in that Fiesta Bowl they beat PITTSBURGH who had 4 losses if I remember (or something close to that). </p>

I don't check the football threads very regularly...I'm still trying to get the hang of this whole football thing. :) But Notre Dame had better win or I will be very dissapointed! Also, chillin til 08- I think that is the exact same score my biology professor predicted today- let's hope it is true!</p>

<p>PSUcks fans are pretty excited about their mighty team that beat Akron last week. Akron. Akron. Morelli will be easy to shake. They lost defense. Tie up Derrick Williams and the offense won't have big gains all over the place. The real coaches on that sideline, the assistants, have been good but Charlie clearly has the advantage with his staff.</p>
<p>If we follow gameplan, this shouldn't be a loss. I'll have a bunch more to say after the game, obviously lol.</p>

<p>Brady looked bad and had happy feet in the beginning. We looked shaky until the bad clipping call and we took off from there. The PSU coaches were BAD. This game wouldve been closer if they played an aggressive defense, and Posluzny (sp?) wasnt hurt. They didnt play Snow either, that was in question before the game. Kicking game pulled through.</p>
<p>The second half was awesome. Theyre defense is overrated.</p>

<p>@ Irish: I did go to the pep rally! And I had an awesome time there and at the football game today! I'm so glad we won, it was such a cool experience. I'm still a little shaky on the rules of football, but I think I'm catching on. I think I have most of the cheers down at least. :) I still can't believe how crazy the campus was. It is really strange seeing the Goodyear blimp outside and having so many thousands of people swarming all over what I've started to think of as my front yard, lol. </p>

You can, however, sign up for a boomerang card, which will give you a 25 dollar gift certificate to the bookstore (or a 20 dollar gift certificate to Gap, Dominoes, or a few other places), after you spend 1500 dollars (2000 points, 1 for every dollar spent, and 500 for signing up). Apparently there is also somewhere you can get last year's merchandise for discount prices, however, I have yet to discover where this is.</p>
<p>I know where it is, but they don't open until after football season. As for its location, I forget the street names but you know the McDonalds that is fairly close to campus and is close to the Martins? If so, it is right across from it. Just remind me after football season and we can make a trip, as I know my roommate and I will want to go. Last year I got a ND basketball jersey for $5</p>
