Do I have any chance? If not where do I have chance(of places with good engineering programs)?

Well your UW GPA is pretty low. What is your class rank cuz if ure at the top then it might just reflect a really strict high school. I think you'd also have a good shot and Cal (yes shock a Stanford student recommending Cal lol) and UCLA. Caltech of course is also really good but just as difficult as Stanford to get into and its very unique so I suggest you going and checking it out first.

thx superwizard, im in the top 10% im told but they dont rank

haha ok what colleges do u get i have a better chance for?

i dunno....probably not top schools although you can still try. But schools in the top 15-20 all look at much more than scores alone, and your weakness in ECs will hurt a lot there.

Yeah, I have to agree with cory123 on this one. Your chances don't look too good. Something you're going to need to find, for all schools you are intent on applying to, is something your passionate about. Nothing jumps out of you application, so you're going to need to try and find something and 'bring it out' as best you can. Whether it be a summer project you did, your volunteer work, etc., you're going to need to show at least one thing that you really put your time into outside of school if you have any hope at getting into the top 25 schools.

Are you simply trying to get our opinion on the best avaliable school you'd be competitive for? If that's what your asking, my answer would be either a smaller liberal arts college, or if that's not your flavor, one of the UC's. I think you'd get into UCLA, and certainly be competitive for Berkeley just through your grades and AP's alone. If you really want to shore up your chances with the UC's, retake your SAT's and get a 2250+ and you'd probably have your pick of the lot, with Berkeley perhaps being the one exception.

I wouldn't say you have no choice, as all of your statistics are well within Stanford's ranges. But I have to say that having no leadership positions will be a definite negative. Your internship with Boeing is interesting, if you did something that wasn't monotonous. I agree that you may not get into Stanford, but the top 20 is not necessarily out of your reach. Find a statement that describes you, and use that as a starting point.
