nearest airport?

Is LAX the nearest airport to UCLA?
What is the 2nd choice, or easy access one?

LAX is actually quite convenient because the school arranges buses and shuttles to take you back and forth during the “going home” seasons.

I’d say Long Beach might be the next closest airport.

Most UCLA students fly LAX though

Yep LAX is 1st choice, Burbank 2nd, Long Beach 3rd but only if you had to. Also, it helps to try to plan around LA traffic.

LAX is closest, but Burbank is a lot smaller and easier to navigate through. And it isn’t that far from UCLA. Either one works.

LAX 15-20 minutes, Burbank 30-35 minutes, depending on time of day.

If you’ve got your private jet or whatnot, you can fly in and out of Santa Monica Airport. A bit closer, but no commercial airlines fly there…

I am thinking to attend the UCLA Bruin Day with my daughter. We can take the early flight in morning and flight back on the same day. We are from NoCal. It seems we can take shuttle bus from LAX to UCLA. (how much is it for one person?), but do we need a car to drive around the campus on Bruin day? Is LAX chaos?

I don’t have private jet. :]

can anyone fill in the shuttle information from LAX to UCLA? Thanks!

It’s $10 round trip per person.

Google Maps is always your friend.

It’s called the FlyAway shuttle… [LAX FlyAway Bus](<a href=“LAX Official Site | Welcome to Los Angeles International Airport”>LAX Official Site | Traffic and Ground Transportation - FlyAway Bus)

And you don’t need a car to go around campus, nor is it really possible to use a car to go around campus.
