<p>Which airport do students use for getting to campus? Hopefully one that has direct flights to hubs like Atlanta or Dallas.</p>

<p>Gville has an airport. I know people who have taken flights to philly and such. I personally go to either Jacksonville or Orlando for variety of flights though.</p>
<p>Yeah, you can fly into gainesville regional, but you will propably pay more. I know many of the flight connect through ATL. As stated above, many just fly into JAX or orlando, and I know some go to tampa.</p>
<p>Gainesville has two major airlines: Delta and US Airways. Delta flies through Atlanta and US Airways goes through Charlotte. It is very convenient to fly out of Gainesville, but the flights cost from $100 to 200 more than the larger airports. Orlando is about a two hour drive on I-75 and the Florida Turnpike. Jacksonville is a shorter drive, but it seems longer because you get there on back roads.</p>
