Necessary to Take an AP History class?

<p>I don't really like history all that much, but my brother says that I should at least take one. I said no. Do I really I have to take an AP History class, will this hurt me?</p>

<p>“I Don’t really like history that much.” ← That says it all right there. Don’t take AP courses that you wont enjoy, especially before your senior year.</p>

<p>Your senior year however, consider taking an AP course in something you may or may not be interested in. It will help prepare you for your gen ed’s in college.</p>

<p>^ I understand that though but, If I feel like I’m going to do bad in an AP History class because I’m not interested, then why take it? You what I mean? I will still have a few AP’s here and there, but I won’t let a History class prevent my learning. :)</p>
