Necessary to take more than 2 SAT Subject tests?

<p>I have so far taken 2 SAT subject tests. They are US History (800) and Biology (720). I was planning on taking a third test, the Math Level II test, however, looking through different threads about the issue, I came to realize that almost all colleges (HYP etc. excepted) require at most 2 SAT Subject tests, and I am reconsidering my decision to take a third.</p>

<p>While I am not a bad math student, math is certainly not my forte, and I plan on having nothing to do with anything math-related in college. I feel that on this test, I would almost certainly not exceed a 750 or so. So, given these facts (another fact, if its any use, is that my SAT score is a 2280), should I take a third SAT subject test? Thanks.</p>

<p>(On a side note, why do some people feel the need to take 5 or 6 subject tests)</p>

<p>Harvard, Yale, Princeton all only require 2. Georgetown is the only school that I can think of that requires three. Unless the schools that you are applying to require a subject test specifically in math, I probably wouldn’t. But make sure you check their requirements</p>
