Yes. There really isn't a reason to cancel, because colleges will give you the benefit of the doubt and take your highest score. Why not at least see what you get so you know what you have to work on?

do not cancel-
first off, you probably didnt do as bad as you think. often if you struggled with a standardized test you actually found all the tricks and saw its difficulty, instead of failing to see where the test was hard and being "tricked" just the way you were intended to be.

second, if you struggled on your first take of the SAT it was a good experience. now you know how to prepare for the next one. colleges expect to see an improvement, and if you do improve greatly, they will be pleased and credit your first score to inexperience and the need for trial. your adaptation will be a positive sign to them.

regardless, dont be so hard on yourself. its better to have as many scores to draw from as possible. the first time i took the SAT i felt horrible, and got 700 and 650 on math and reading, but in writing i got 750 and an 11 on my essay. the second time i took it i scored 800 and 700 in math and reading, but only 720/9 on writing. if i had canceled, my superscore would be far worse!

No, canceling would be a poor decision.
First off, this is your FIRST TIME. Undoubtedly the test will seem a bit unfamiliar to you (even if you did prepare with tons of prep books!) and perhaps a bit daunting, but it's not uncommon - I honestly can't say I know anybody who knows that he has a straight 2400 - so don't worry!
Secondly, Chone is right. Superscoring does help...

So -- don't cancel! (unless you 100% think you got <1800 (or whatever your personal goal was)

man, I'm just afraid that ill end up getting a 1700 or something in which super scoring won't really help...I had to omit like 3 critical reading questions and 4 math, cuz I was kinda nervous and didn't finish on time..

With those omitted im kinda already guaranteed a low score x_x
The one good thing I got from this test was the experience of taking the Real SAT...but I'm still hesitant in keeping this one..

KEEP IT. Colleges UNDERSTAND that you can have a bad test session! For all they know, you could have had a blinding migraine through the whole test but wanted to stick it out anyway. They won't hold this against you.

Besides, say you end up
CR: 3 omit, 4 wrong (just making up numbers that seem reasonable for "worst case scenario")
M: 4 omit, 4 wrong

That still gives upper 600s to lower 700s. That isn't so bad. Certainly not as bad as you seem to think.

ah, but what if I end up getting 1600-1700!!!!

Would't it be better to just cancel this one and take it again in March as a "first time" test, now that I've gotten the experience of taking a real SAT?
