<p>So I'm going to attend a community college but I will be taking my GE classes first so should I carry my laptop with me? Do people do that anymore lol should I have a mouse? Or no mouse? Do a lot of people in GE classes use their laptop?</p>

<p>Depends on the person. I liked to take notes on my laptop or tablet, so I brought my computer with me. Most use a notebook and pencil, though, especially in math and science classes. Take your laptop if you want to, but you certainly don’t have to.</p>
<p>You can use a mouse if you want to. You don’t have to use a mouse, if you don’t want to. If the desks are small, it may be difficult to have both your laptop and mouse on it.</p>
<p>If you have large lectures, there will probably be no space for a mouse.
I say play it by ear. Try it out. Some people find it useful for note taking, others find it a distraction. Figure out what works for you.</p>
