Bought sony w810i with 2 yr service agreement with the nation 450 plan, got the $100 rebate.

THEN, add some accessory to the order
THEN, type in the code WLS50 and hit update cart
THEN, type in the other code WLS25 and update the cart
THEN, remove the accessory, THE DISCOUNT STAYS

I got $75 off so my order was free and it actually took some off of the total due today!

My total was like $94 so when I get the rebate I should make $6.

"son has verizon and gets service everywhere"

Either your son lied to you or he has never visited Pembroke. Chances are the fomer is the case.

My rankings TRUST ME ON THIS

AT&T (Cingular) - Most Places like 98%
Sprint - A lot of places close to 96%
T-Mobile - Suprisingly pretty good if you have it already
stick with it.
Verizon - Great in Main and Southern campus HORRIBLE in
north

son didn't live in Pembroke-was in Keeney where service was fine. Roomie had Sprint and had lots of trouble with service-always getting dropped calls. I had heard Pembroke was horrible for alot of the plans. It's true that verizon may have been horrible for Pembroke if he had lived there, but he said the few times he was at that part of campus, he always got service

Yeah I just checked Cingular's website and the coverage area is basically 97% in Providence and 100% around Brown. I just realized I have a local plan and I have to change to a national plan so I don't end up paying the same price of tuition for cell phone bills.

I'll throw in that T-Mobile is atrocious and that the design of some of the Pembroke buildings, not unlike Grad Center, will make it hard to get any kind of service.

T-Mobile is one of the best in Providence but atrocious around campus.

Really? I had T-mobile when I spent two weeks at Brown last summer and it worked beautifully. I stayed in Keeney. I'm considering sticking with T-mobile. Would it really be that bad?

Maybe service has improved but I'm a rising Junior and my one friend who has T-Mobile (he lives in East Providence) has had constant trouble, not so much in Keeney where we also lived, but I do know he had more issues than the rest of us.

I have verizon and it works on Pembroke in some of the dorms, most of the classrooms. It doesn't work at the Gate, which is really not surprising since the Gate is underground. But I tend to avoid Pembroke as much as possible anyway.
