<p>Do we need text books on the first day of class? I was thinking about buying all books over the weekend (and since i am waitlisted in 1 of them). Also do we need an iclicker on the 1st of class for 5J? </p>

<p>You most likely won’t need them the first day. Professors usually just go over the syllabus on that day.</p>

<p>You usually don’t need textbooks the first day of class, the professor would have sent out an email if that was the case.</p>
<p>Iclickers can be bought at the bookstore, they’re like $40 new so it’s best if you know somebody else who had one then it would be best to borrow it or buy it used from somewhere.</p>

<p>Yeah people drop out after a day or two of class, and they occasionally add extra seats to let students in.</p>
