Hi guys, I've been preparing for a few Subject Tests and am looking for scans of certain pages of The Official Study Guide for All SAT Subject Tests, 2nd Ed. I need the full Answer Explanations to the Biology, Literature, Physics and US History tests in the book. I didn't figure it would be worth it to go buy this book since these are the only parts I need from it as I have the tests themselves and everything else I need from my copy of the 1st Ed. of this book. If anyone has the book and is willing to take high-quality and complete scans of the Answer Explanations for those four subjects, please PM me. I am willing to make a fair trade in exchange for your services. Thanks!

^^ I hope you know that what you’re asking for is completely illegal.

I think I have a vague idea of who you are. VAGUE. I’m not sure. I might be wrong.

Anyways, just like what businessisbiznez said: what you are asking for is completely illegal.

I hope you realize how many other threads there are asking for PDFs of the tests in the The Official Study Guide for All SAT Subject Tests book. I’m merely asking for the Answer Explanations for a couple of tests because I don’t want to buy another edition of a book I already have.

Bump, anyone? I’m willing to trade for the scans. PM me.

Bump. 10char

Just because other people do it doesn’t mean it isn’t illegal buddy.

^ Did I say that? I was just wondering why you weren’t commenting on those threads, especially considering scanning tests is more of an issue than scanning some mere explanations.

Also, double negative…

OK. Let’s end the hate. Of course scanning tests is more of an issue than scanning explanations, but still, asking for them is illegal. I haven’t seen any threads that are asking for tests so far (I’m new so I haven’t seen many threads). I think you’re simply better off asking friends and relatives for the book. I’m sure at least someone you know has the book.

Even though scanning tests could be seen as a more important issue, asking for scanned versions of the explanations is still frowned upon. I encourage you to either 1. ask friends or relatives 2. go to a library.

^ Here’s an example of one such thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-subject-tests-preparation/1150908-official-sat-study-guide-math-level-1-2-pdf.html.

Thanks for the advice, but I need the explanations available for quick and easy access; hence, the need for scans.

Bump. 10char

Just go to the library and get it.

Plus, my library only has the 1st Ed. of the book, which includes no explanations.

Because this thread has gotten quite long for such a non-issue topic, I can only offer one suggestion. Just go buy the book! You’re much better off buying the book and studying than just waiting for someone to PM you. I understand that you don’t want to buy a later version of a book you already have. But let’s face it. You have to make a sacrifice.

The pain of buying a later version of a book you already have is going to be compensated by looking at that sweet 800 and making you and your family proud. Don’t you think?

If you’re really that cheap, buy the book, don’t write in it, then return it after you’re done

Just buy a used one. Go to a bookstore that sells used books. Or look for ads in newspapers that sells used books. I got a whole bunch of books by buying used books in bookstores and looking at ads. Don’t ever do what rayankees94 is suggesting. That’s very bad.

I live in a society filled with Koreans (I’m a Korean myself), so there are a lots of used bookstores that sell used SAT books. And Koreans here sell their SAT books when they don’t need them, so I bought them.

I hope this has helped you!

Does your local public library have it?

It’s not just that I don’t want to buy the book. It’s also that I’m traveling soon and need the explanations on quick and easy access before I get back and take the June SAT Subject Tests.
Who said anything about cheap? Would you buy a book you only need four explanations from?
I don’t have time to do all that… Read above.
No, it only has the 1st Ed., which does not contain explanations.

No one is interested in doing a few easy scans in exchange for official AP/SAT II Exams?
