Hi its getting kind of late in the year already, at least in terms of admissions. So I’ve definitely got my reach schools planned out, those are easy- I dream Columbia, Cornell, Stanford, Chicago. Some matches include Notre Dame, Boston College, Vanderbilt, and I have University of Florida down as well.

I am worried, however, of being universally rejected, as all of these schools are selective. My stats are:

4.0 unweighted GPA, 6 APs this year, including AP Calculus, which looks like a C, and AP Chemistry.

I got a 670 math/700 verbal/740 writing, but a 33 on the ACT (32 reading and English, 35 math and 33 science)

My SAT math 2c was unimpressive: 660, but I’m taking the lit.

My main EC is BSA, Eagle Scout and a couple of other leadership positions.

I’m also Hispanic.

Chances at the schools I listed above aside, what are a couple of good SAFETY schools for me. I don’t want to go to a liberal arts college, I prefer a national university in a relatively large city or urban area.

My interests by the way, lie in Business, Economics, although I am considering premed.

Any suggestions?
