We need to more pieces of info: what is your home state, what can your family afford?

Erin’s Dad is right…

Picking a safety isn’t just about getting accepted; it’s also about what is affordable. A safety isn’t a safety if you aren’t positive that you can afford to go there.

A safety is a school that you KNOW for SURE that you can afford ALL costs because of **assured /B merit scholarship, assured grants, a small fed student loan, and/or family funds.

How much will your parents spend each year? If you don’t know, ask!!! :)

Are we to assume that you’re going to be pre-med? What specific major? bio? chem? something else?

Keep in mind that if you’ll have med school to pay for, you don’t want to borrow much for undergrad. Med school is very expensive! Save your borrowing power for med school.

I live in Pennsylvania but would attend college in New York, Delaware, New Jersey, Mass., Maryland, and Virginia. Luckily money is not a problem and my parents are willing to pay for wherever I choose to go. I am planning to be a biology major and am not sure if I want to go to medical school.

Thank you!!

It looks like U of Delaware would be close to a safety.

Your stats may be good enough to throw in Northeastern and Boston College in there over BU.
