Need a sat grammar book

Im finding a really hard time during the writing section.. and I need a grammar/writing section book.

Grammar books are hard to come across of. I’ve heard the Sparknotes Grammar/Writing guide is fantastic. I started reading some of it the other day and it covers A LOT of great information so try that maybe? After studying that thoroughly you should easily hit 630-700 in grammar. Then maybe go over old sections t o find tune a 700to higher. Its definitely possible because there guide hits the 7 major grammar rules as well as 4 less known (but also tested) rules. Also, its free :). Good luck!

i tried rocket review, grammatix, and princeton review, but the one that i found was most helpful was Barrons 2400 for grammer

It’s not a book, but my guide has a grammar section: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/955109-silverturtles-guide-sat-admissions-success.html.

No offense, but isn’t it ironic that the 2 users (except Silverturtle) who have handed out recommendations for this book and that book have made grammatical errors in their posts, not to mention typos?

I didn’t buy a standalone Grammar book, but I was satisfied by the tips and strategies mentioned in the Kaplan book I used. You can also try Silverturtle’s Guide. A lot of the users here praise it.

^I used grammatix for grammer sections and the tips, they work just great.
I get 770-800’s on my practice tests.

i don’t really use proper grammar here. it’s a forum, chillax.
