Need a Summer Program! Help please...

Hey,
So I am looking for a prestigious summer program that looks good on applications, but is also a good fit for me and somewhere that I will truly enjoy my summer.

Anyway, I am very interested in foreign/international relations, economics, history, psychology, business, government and other such classes. I am pretty smart, have all A's, and I have decent SAT's that waver between 2000 and 2100. I am a current junior. I also LOVE english and reading.

Nothing science based please.

Thanks!

Well… you definitely need fallbacks, but if it is not too late, apply to TASP for sure.

If you “LOVE” English and reading, I recommend Carleton College’s Summer Writing Program.
3 weeks, 3 academic essays (revise two of them), multiple readings every night. 6 credit hours if you improve enough. You read a lot of great stuff and have some good discussions in class/workshop. Plus, I wrote my best essays there. It’ll REALLY help you prepare for college writing.

Besides the academic stuff, the people you meet there will become some of your best friends :)

I think I will apply to TASP, but really need back up programs that still will be great for me.

Will look into Carleton’s program, but is it competitive and will it look good on an app?

What are thoughts on Oxbridge programs? Prestigious? Do they look good or would it be a waste as far a prestige for college apps?

hmm Im thinking about the same thing…Im really interested in the Oxbridge France one
