Hello. I’m about to start my senior year of high school and have got some big decisions to make. I would like to attend Northeastern University, but have been slightly dissuaded because of the annual cost. I really plan to do my senior year with a “no-nonsense” type of attitude, and am hoping this helps my chances. Here are my stats from junior year:
I’m from California btw
Ethnicity: Black/African American
GPA: 3.8 (weighted) 3.7 (unweighted)
Classes: ASL 3, AP US history, English 11 CP, Chesmitry Honors, Trig/Pre-Cal Honors, Track.
I want to major in sign language over at the school. My classes this year will be:
ASL 4 Honors
AP U.S. Gov
English 12 CP
Economics CP
AP Calculus (AB)
Track
I know if I push myself I can achieve a 4.3 GPA. So hopefully that will help my chances with a big GPA boost. I’ve done track all 4 years and am involved in my school’s sign language and Christian club. I would really like to go, but tuition is very expensive, and I am unsure how much financial aid would help me. Any advice is GREATLY appreciated.
