Need advice about the "survey" for ACT website account...

My sophomore child just signed up for her ACT and SAT website accounts. She did not register for tests, just for access to the websites. The ACT website asked her to complete a "profile" survey. She said it had questions that seemed to target which major she'd like (STEM, helping people, business wonk...), what elements of a college she desired, etc.

She was wondering about the questions about her interests in various support services on campus, like academic supports, apparently. Now she's worried that she might be pigeon-holed as someone needing academic help just or a poor student because she responded that she'd like a school with a writing center and such. Should she be concerned or not? She actually is very interested in having great academic supports, as she has LDs/ADHD. Any ideas?

I assume this info is collected to pass to colleges who want to market to kids.

As I understand it you can change your answers on the ACT profile. The survey is used for college advertising -colleges sending you emails, brochures, etc- rather than actual admissions; so I wouldn’t worry to much about it.

Oh, thanks!
