Hi, I want to hear some advice from you guys.
First, Im an international student, I go to CCC, electrical engineering major, and I'm planning to apply UCs this fall, and my current gpa is about 2.9.
The thing is that I got As and Bs in most of igetc classes like japanses and etc, but I got many Bs and Cs in major requirements such as math and physics.
I heard that UCs and even other schools only look at major requirement classes GPA instead of easy A IGETC classes, so I'm wondering if I can get into any of UCs or not.
So, I'm thinking of cal state pomona for the last option, but is Pomona a good engineering school? (or can I even get into pomona with that GPA?)
I have worked at physics lab for 1.5 yrs(still now), AGS(used to be), and I made a company's website as a part time job. Are these ECs gonna help for admission?
I cant sleep these days because of these. I want to hear the honest opinions that might be helpful to me, not sarcasm or etc.
Thank you guys.
