Need advice for Chem SAT

3 Things:

1) I am a junior and have not taken Chemistry since last year. My course was the highest level, but it was terrible. I wasn't very college motivated then, but now I am highly motivated. I took the Chem SAT last year and got a 550 (which is unspeakable). It was to be expected cuz the class was terrible, but since I got a 2320 on the SATs, I am capable of more. I really want a 700+ on the Chem SAT.
2) Assume I know nothing of Chemistry. Honestly, the most I remember SOLIDLY is: elemental stuff, stuff about the periodic table, and what a mole is.
3) How can I re-teach myself Chemistry by the June SAT? I really need to get the 550 up...a lot. I have been getting consistent 800s on my Math II tests, so I just need to score well on my Chemsitry test. Honestly, am I screwed or is there a book I can use to get my score up? I have Princeton Review and Barrons, and they seem quite different. PR seems to have a small amount of info, whereas Barrons seems to have too much lol. Which should I use? Or another?

All advice is appreciated!

i think the best thing you can do now…is to get a review book, maybe start out with kaplan…cuz it’s the easier one out of them…and then work your way up to barron’s…

I think the June SAT is cutting it sort of close. I would even advise against it. However, if you are determined, take a Sparknotes practice test now and it will tell you the specific areas you have to work on. You can be the judge of whether or not you’ll have time to fill the gaps in your knowledge in a month and a half.
