Need advice for choosing between UCSD and UCI.

I’ve recently been accepted as a transfer to UC Irvine for Business Economics along with UCSD for Economics. I’d like to go into a career in accounting and was wondering if anyone here could provide me with some information that’ll help me decide on one of the two, because right now I have absolutely no idea where I’d like to go.

I’m planning to take the accounting minor at both schools and hopefully try to land an internship and eventually be hired full-time after graduating. I’ve read online that there isn’t much of a recruiting presence for accounting at UCSD compared to UCI but I don’t know how accurate that information is. If anyone here can provide any insight that could make this choice easier for me, that would be very helpful.

UC Irvine Business Economics has a focus in Accounting. Business Economics is the same as Economics & Accounting as for persay UCSB

@bsasounian I thought that UCI just had the accounting minor, which UCSD also has. Is there any difference between a minor in accounting and a focus in accounting?

@UClorSDTransfer I as well am planning on doing a major in Business Economics. I believe the major offers a minor in accounting because if you combine the prerequisites in Economics and Accounting (Minor) its the same for a major in Business Economics. It’d be best to consult Irvine directly.
