Need Advice for SAT II's

Hi, CC! I'm a junior who hasn't taken any SAT Subject Tests, but I've decided that I'll take Math II and chem in a month or two as well as U.S. history in May. At the moment, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by my class schedule and the fact that I've done no studying whatsoever for these exams. Moreover, I took pre-cal and chem last year, so I'm pretty sure the info's been leaking quite a bit since then. Here are my questions to you brilliant CCers:

I've purchased Barron's review books for Math II and chem, plus AMSCO for U.S. history. Will these be enough for 800's? (For reference, I took the Math II and chem SparkNotes tests and earned 670 and 630, respectively.)

As you can probably see, Math II and chem are my immediate concerns. How long and how often must I study to get through Barron's? When would be the best time to take the tests: November or December? Would it be unwise to take them on the same date?

Thank you so much for your concern! :]

For US History, AMSCO is enough for the AP US History exam, so you should be good.

Barron’s will overprepare you for the Math II test and you will most likely perform at least 50 points lower on Barron’s tests than you will the real exam.

You may want to buy CB’s Official Guides for all Subject Tests/all Math tests/all History tests (there are 3 books) to use for real tests as your tests approach.

Thank you for the advice, Mr. Pi!

Oh, trust me, I would buy those books, but money’s an issue for me. I felt more than a little guilty buying Barron’s, and AMSCO’s price tag especially broke my heart. ;_;

Any advice for chem and whether or not I should take the tests on the same date? :O
