Need advice for uc transfer!

Looking for some advice here and any help would be appreciated.

I graduated HS class of 07 and went to a uc for the fall quarter. I decided to transfer back after my 1st quarter to a CC because i ended up not liking the school. My grades werent too great in that first quarter. I believe it was 3 Cs or 2Cs and 1D. They put me on academic probation when i left and said if i wanted to be in good standing again i had to take 6 credits at CC and get a 3.5 or higher and send my transcript in. I transferred to a cc and instead of working hard i messed around with friends etc etc and screwed up there as well. got put on progress probation and eneded up with 2 Ds and 2Fs. I left that cc and am attending one where i dont have any distractions and my first semester (this past winter) i got an 1 A and 1B (6 credits) and now for spring I'm taking 14 credits and I'm aiming for a 3.7 cumulative. Everything is going perfectly, I'm attending classes regularly because I don't have any distractions and I know that 3.7 is possible.

So my questions are...

-I'm trying to transfer to uci as a psych major and assist.org tells me that "This major does not require completion of prerequisites for admission as a
transfer student". Does this mean that if i finish my IGETC and get 60 transferable credits, ill be able to transfer to uci with my intended major?

-To get off of academic probation do I need to send in my transcripts from this new CC to both my previous CC and the UC i attended?

-I believe I read somewhere that people who have already attended a UC are not eligible for the TAG/TAP program. Is this true? If it is can I still apply for a transfer not being a part of the program?

-Is it possible to finish my IGETC and transfer in 1 year? This time next year?

Thanks in advance for the help. I already have a date set to meet with my counselor but I'm trying to get some answers before i meet with her.

1) Technically yes, but you should still aim to get them all done. Just because they are not required, doesn’t mean they won’t play a major role in your admissions decisions. You should try especially hard considering your first two quarter grades will significantly bring down your overall gpa, although they will take into account the positive trend.

2)I’m not sure on this one as I’ve never been on academic probation, sorry :(

3) Here are the requirements for a UCI tag
ARE YOU ELIGIBLE FOR TAG?
Good news! The majority of prospective transfer applicants from California Community Colleges are eligible for TAG and can confirm their eligibility as they complete the new online TAG Checklist.
A student who is TAG eligible:

  • has completed the first transferable English composition course;
  • has completed the first transferable math course;
  • does not have a degree from a four-year college/university;
  • does not have any foreign/international coursework;
  • does not have any coursework from a four-year college/university (exception: coursework completed at a UC and the applicant left the UC in good standing);
  • does not have any coursework from an out-of-state college/university.
    So having units from a UC does not rule you out, but leaving while not in good standing does.

4) Is it possible? yes. Is it likely? No. IGETC took me 3 semester to complete and at my highest point I was taking 21 units (6 classes). The only way you can achieve this, without killing yourself, is to have AP units that satisfy course requirements.
