Need advice - is this possible?

Hey everyone,

I'm an international student who is currently thinking about going to McGill.

I've been accepted to McGill but I'm not keen on Canada because it seems so foreign and distant and for a number of other reasons. Don't get me wrong, McGill and Canada are great, but I don't think they're for me.

Would it be possible for me to enroll a year at McGill, while simultaneously applying for English colleges (where I currently live), and then "drop out" to attend an English college in 2010?

Not sure what the regulations are concerning this. Thanks for any advice!

You could definitely start out at McGill, and see how you like it, then, if you hate it, transfer to a university somewhere else. Plenty of people transfer.

agree with molliegym. go, and if you don’t like it, transfer.

Yea, the problem is, I can’t transfer :(

UK colleges are EXTREMELY strict in terms of degree structure and exactly what classes you have to take. I’ve checked and no credits would transfer over.

I’d have to drop out.
