Hello - this is my first post on college confidential for several years (actually since undergrad admissions). I've since graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelors in Aerospace Engineering (GPA 3.491) and was hired into a leadership development program for a large corporation. I have worked for the company for about 3 years now in Texas. I'm interested in moving back to Michigan for a job with a different company. I was also planning on getting an MBA soon and I was debating whether or not to get a part-time MBA from Michigan while working.

Here are some concerns I have:

Will it be frowned upon that I am getting an MBA from the same school I got my engineering degree from?

Although Michigan is a highly ranked school for graduate business studies, will a part-time MBA actually be worth it or should I go full-time?

I've noticed that Michigan's business school has slipped in US News & World Report's rankings - Is it still considered an elite business school or should I aim higher?

Please let me know what you think or if you have any comments. Thanks!
