Hello everyone. I am new to the forum so please be gentle. I graduated from Ferris State University in Big Rapids Michigan with a BS in Marketing with a concentration in Supply Chain Management. I graduated with a 2.9 GPA.

I have ten years in manufacturing under a non supervisory role. I have very little experience in the world of supply chain but have been extremely interested in it since I left college. I have tried to further myself in employment by working myself up but have been unsuccessful. So I thought about going back to school to get an MS SCM from Michigan State but have found that they want a minimum of 3.0 and two years experience in supply chain.

MSU does offer a Masters Certificate in Integrated Supply Chain Management. It is composed of 5 classes. Supply Chain 1, Supply Chain 2, Distribution Fulfillment, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing.

Does this certificate sound reasonable or do you think I am wasting my time? I have also wanted to earn my CPIM with Apics as well. My long term goal is to become a Supply Chain Analyst.
