Need advice on my transfer essays

I have a slight problem with these two prompts from Common App.

"Please provide a statement (250 words minimum) that addresses your reasons for transferring and the objectives you hope to achieve."

"The Common Application asks for an essay explaining your reasons for wanting to transfer. Now please write an essay that describes the courses of study and unique characteristics fo the University of Pennsylvania that most interest you. An evaluation of your college education to date and why your educational goals may be better served at Penn should be addressed."

I won't be using the CommonApp for any other schools but Wharton so would it be alright if I happen to be repetitive in both prompts?

Also, I am having some trouble coming up for reasons to transfer. At the moment, all I have is that Wharton has more suitable business concentrations than my current school (Northeastern). Would that one reason suffice, or do I need more than one reason to transfer.

Thanks

I wouldn't be repetitive. If they're asking you twice, they are probably looking for slightly different information each time.

Your reason doesn't say anything about Wharton as an institution. Colleges don't want to know that you like their courses, because there are lots of colleges that will have similar courses. They want to know why you want that specific institution in particular. You need to talk about what appeals to you about the overall institution - the student body, cocurricular life, unique programs, faculty, etc.

That's the difference between these two questions. The first is basically "Why isn't your current college a good fit," and the second is "Why is your hoped-for college a good one?" Kinda look at it that way. Just don't be overly negative in your first one because it can seem like whining.

What would be considered overly negative? I have a tendency to be too negative at times.
