Need advice on school choices.

I'm looking to begin narrowing down my college list so I can start working on apps this summer. So far my list includes: Stanford (SCEA, number 1 choice), UC Berkeley, USC, UW, and Duke as schools I'm definitely going to apply to.
I'm looking to major in math/science and continue on to med school. Not looking for small liberal arts colleges. School spirit/athletics is pretty important. I'll probably apply to one of HYP, but I'm not sure which is the best for math/science. Any suggestions? (:

The schools you are targeting are definitely some of the most school spirited imo. You have some good options as it is. You could also look at UCLA. As far as HYP for math/science… I think it would depend which science you wanted to go into. Bio at H is quite popular, since there are many pre-med students there, but I can’t say much for the strengths of their chemistry and physics, for example (granted it is H so I’m sure it’s quite good as it is but comparatively there might be other options). Also, MIT?

Does MIT have the same sort of feel as Caltech? I visited Caltech and it just didn’t feel right, even though it’s a great school.

MIT is much bigger than Caltech, and in a completely different atmosphere, so I would look into applying there.

Okay thanks. Any other suggestions?
