bottom line - good ACT (33)
fair SAT - 1930
horrible SAT IIs - 570 and 650
will not be taking any more tests
Stanford says submit ALL tests
Stanford says SAT IIs are recommended (aka required?)

Obviously I would like to just submit the ACT.

question 1 - does that totally go against the 'submit ALL tests'? I am
using my own logic that 'submit all sat sittings if you submit any sat, so
if I don't submit any sat.....'

question 2 - let's assume that its ok to not submit any sat, then I
have the question - is it better to submit 2 poor sat II's or none at all
when I know they want sat II's??

Yes, I believe you can’t get any more cut and dry than that. They want your SAT’s and ACT’s.
Will they know you withheld test scores if you choose not to send in SAT’s? Probably not.

jbourne - check their requirements carefully; you must report all SATs and all ACTs that you have taken. Since SATIIs are not required, you can use score choice on your SATIIs only. So, bottom line, you must sent your SAT and your ACT and can choose whether or not to send your SATIIs.
This is all carefully spelled out in their testing requirements.

You must submit everything…all scores. Our D got in with average Sat and Sat IIs. Her ACT was 34. There is more to each applicant than test scores.

There are some exceptions for the all score requirement. First, you may just submit one ACT test score and self report the other ones if there is a financial reason as you need to pay for each ACT score submission. Second, you can do score choice for SAT2 subject tests.
