Hi,

I have been working in the IT industry for the past 5 years and after a lot of contemplation have decided to change my career. i want to pursue a Master's degree but am finding it difficult to decide what suits me best. I am quite passionate about issues related to the environment, urbanization, animal welfare especially livestock ,dairy farming and poultry and want to pursue a career where i can make a difference in these areas. In the future, i might also want to work towards social welfare. The problem is that my area of interests are an area of specialization within themselves. I was thinking of something like environmental policy and management initially but i think it will restrict me from venturing into other areas of interests. So i am considering something like Master's in Public Policy but nor do i have any experience in this field and coming from an IT background, i don't understand how i will be able to contribute to the issues in these areas. Also, i'm afraid that since i have never studied economics or statistics being propelled in a field that revolves around it is not something i will be able to handle.

How do i deal with this?
