Need advice PLEAS HELP :(

I posted a couple of post explaining my situation. I just completed my first year of community college the reason I went jc is because my GPA in high school was not that great I did not put any effort in my classes and I was just not focus so my GPA suffered and I did not get into any of my colleges. Well after my first year at jc I got into my dream school. Would it be to old being 20 living in a dorm? Also I feel like I am not good enough because I did not get into my top school right after high school and I had to wait a year at a jc. Is it bad to be 20 and still a freshman the reason behind that is not all my grades transfer to my university. Also I apologize in advance if my grammar and spelling is bad I am on my phone. WELL PLEASE HELP.

I will be going to my university in about three weeks. Well all advice and comments will be greatly appreciated.

After high school, age differences become less significant. I doubt anyone will care, and if they do, you don’t want to be their friends anyway. There are likely many transfer students at your school, and I doubt it will be an issue.

I think people will respect you if you’re older than them because they will think you have more experience. But like the other person said… People generally don’t care about age. It’s not a big deal or a sin if you’re a 20-year-old freshman. A guy I worked with on a group project my first semester was going on 24 but none of us cared. I appreciated his maturity.

I know many people who took a gap year or two (for military). Most people won’t even ask you how old you are. Even if they ask, they won’t care.

And you got into your dream school, I mean thats gotta count for something.

Roughly 1/4 of enrolled students should be your age or older.

@baktrak thanks for thinking the time to reply and your right there is probably more people that are transferring didn’t think of it that way :)

@baktrak in my last reply I meant thanks for taking the time to reply I am on my phone so it does auto correct :)

@delphicoracle your right there isn’t anything wrong with being a freshman at 20 I guess I was comparing myself to my older sister who was a college junior at 20. But your most people won’t care I am just worrying over nothing  thanks for taking the time to reply.

@arghwhy your right I did get in my dream school so I am going to try and focus on that  thanks for taking the time to reply :)
