I live in CA and was planning on attending University of Colorado - Business School in fall 2013. I just received an acceptance to San Diego State- "undeclared major". SDSU was one of my top choices. Now I am so confused getting an acceptance so late.

I would like to be closer to home at SDSU, but I am thinking I would be getting a better education at CU Boulder. I want to go to a school that has a "college feel" and would like to be in a sorority. I've heard SDSU sororities are very cliquey and if you are not a part of a top greek house there is not much to do. I've also heard that it can be more of a commuter college. But, how can you beat living in San Diego.

Besides the cost of the two schools, I would love to hear opinions on pros and cons.

My son is from Ca.and just finished his junior year at CU. He loves it there. CU definitely has that ‘college feel’ to it. Beautiful campus (have you visited?). Lots of fun at football games although the team is terrible. He snowboards, plays on intramural sports teams, hikes on the mountains around the campus and belongs to a professional fraternity… Fraternities and sororities do not dominate the social scene there at all. If you do not participate in them you will still have a very active social life. Also Boulder is an easy town to get around in for students. My son has never had a car the entire time he has been there. He gets around entirely by foot, local buses and rides from friends. And he likes it so much there he has stayed in Boulder for the last two summers.

I’ve always heard that SDSU has a respectable business program. It also had the largest jump up in rankings on the U.S. News. Personally, I would choose SDSU.
