<p>I got 228 on my psats, however my SAT scores are nothing compared to that.</p>
<p>First time I took the SAT i got M:650 E:640 W:690
Second time M:750 E:600 W:630</p>
<p>Both times i got 1980. </p>
<p>First, will this affect my chances at NMSF or NMF?
Second, Do colleges superscore the SAT so I get a combined score of 2080?</p>
<p>Most colleges will superscore the SAT but there are some that only take the highest single sitting. You would have to check with the college’s individual website to make sure. As for the SAT/PSAT dilemma, normally about 100 points wouldn’t normally be a problem for NMF, but yours is a difference of 300. It might affect your chances, but it would be best to try and contact CB for that stuff.</p>
<p>unfortunately, it probably will hurt your NM chances since one of the first thing NM wanted was an actual report of your SAT score to make sure your SAT is up to par with your PSAT (i believe i even read that on my semi finalist packet, so im not just making it up). good luck!</p>
<p>Usually, all the “prestigious” will not superscore your SAT scores (except Harvard).</p>
