As a junior, I got 204 on the PSAT. I received the top 50,000 letter from my school to send to two colleges, but in late September I did not receive the letter for commended student (nor did anyone else in my school), but the semifinalists were given their letters by the principal in my school. It's probably my fault that I didn't go asking, but I would like to know whether I should put commended student on my college apps. A lot of people said I should be one. My mom's also super asian so she might put up a fuss about me calling long distance to ask -.- any suggestions?

Yeah as long as you got the top 50,000 letter that means you are a commended student. You should definitely should put that on your college resume.

don’y bother asking anyone. you’re commended, and you can and should so indicate.

thanks a lot guys! :)
