Need advice - really want to get in to Claremont Mckenna!

<p>Hi:
Would appreciate your help! Test scores good but GPA just OK...really want to go to Claremont Mckenna. Visited over spring break. </p>

<p>Any ideas on how to be more attractive to CMC would be so appreciated...Am a junior...this summer should I try to get a job doing research in poli sci helping a professor? </p>

<p>I know CMC is 11% acceptance..Any idea if I can get into UVA?
I think Georgetown would be big reach...not catholic</p>

<p>You are absolutely qualified for Claremon McKenna, it will come down to if they like you/need somebody with your demographics and/or from your region. Focus on making sure that your essays and recommendations are as amazing as they can be.</p>
