I looked nearly everywhere and it is hard to make a few things clear, and I would appreciate any advice or tips.

I have gone to public school in 9th and private in 10th, and suddenly had to move out of country for a year(attending school there for a year) and now i am back, and decided to continue 11th grade then 12th grade via homeschooling.

Now, my grades past grades in high school are decent enough, but of course, I am aware that grades would be minimal influence (which could be both good and bad in this case). In addition, I have already gotten a 5 on 4 AP tests and near perfect on 2 Subject tests prior to this drastic shift.

Here is the dilemma: I am aware that UC Berkeley (or any other UC) require accreditted transcript and/or a-g requirements for courses, but I heard something about verifying the authenticity for homeschooled courses via Subject tests. Currently, I am homeschooling myself for my Junior Year and studying 5( 6 if you separate micro/macro) courses and plan to take the AP test in May for all of them. Would a 5 on corresponding subjects' AP tests be proof enough for UC? (planning to take the AP test for every homeschooled course from now on for this purpose of "accrediting") Of course, apart from UC, I am aware that schools like Stanford are more flexible and simply refer to the description provided by the applicants.

Also, I am aware that to homeschool in CA, one would need to establish a home based private school, or umbrella school, etc. But since I am already 18, I am not convinced of the need for a home-based school, since it seems the purpose is to bypass truancy violations. I did some research and find that diplomas are not looked at, but transcripts are. Also, I see cases of people making their own transcripts without establishing their own private school.

Please, if you have any insight, or words of the wise, I would appreciate it!
