Need advice

Hi well let me start off that I used to go to a very competitive school, Scarsdale High School. However, with my PSAT scores in the 100's and with Princeton review scores not exceeding over 1200, I felt it was in my best interest to repeat my grade at a private school. So currently I attend the top 5 best private school in nyc, York Prep. Now I am taking two honors classes and two enriched classes (Second Honors.) How are colleges going to look at this? If my Sat Scores jump in the 1700 range, which they most likely are because I read about 4 books a month (To whom the bell tolls, Scarlet Letter....) Are colleges not going to like this? I was already told by two deans it wont hurt and it will help at lot but they are going to ask why I did it. Also, I went from a drastic jump, regarding my academic preformance. I went from remedial calsses to Honors (because I did acceleration of the summer, read a lot, tutors and lots of sports!) What do you think?

Ps sorry for spelling I am just in a rush to school!

As long as you challenged yourself, and can explain that growth, you'll be fine for colleges.
