I need to know what are the IB Classes?
Do you have to take AP exams in order to get into any IVY league colleges?
I need some advice on what kind of Extra cirricular activities can I participate in because my school really doesn't offer any kind of special EC's.</p>
<p>IB classes are part of the effort to make a “common curriculum” for students who want or may want to go elsewhere in the world for colleges. That said, IB classes are looked upon favorably by American colleges, and in that regard, they’re like (but not above) APs. Still, take them if they’re available.</p>
<p>AP’s aren’t <em>required</em>, but you more or less do need them to get into Ivies.</p>
<p>Search out your own ECs–even if your school had some, you would still need to do some heavy lifting on your own.</p>
