Need advise - MS Mechanical Engineering

<p>Hi guys,
I am new to the forum.
I am considering applying for Mechanical Engineering for fall 2009.
I know I am very late :( but I wanted to know if I have a chance if I apply now. </p>

<p>My profile is;
GRE 1400
Verbal 660
Quantitative 740
AWA 4.5
I already have a masters in Industrial Engineering with 3.2 GPA
I do not have any publications or research experience. </p>

<p>I want to know what my chances of getting into a good school would be
I wold appreciate any advise.

<p>You could definitely get in somewhere with those stats. What do you define as a top school? In relation to the USNWR rankings, I would say that you could definitely get into some of the schools ranked in the teens with funding and then get into perhaps a top 10 school or two with no funding and just have to find a professor who is willing to work with you… solicit your own funding in other words.</p>
