Need ammunition for Harvard

wrathofgod64 -

William and Mary may CALL themselves a "college". So does Dartmouth, but like Dartmouth they are functionally a university. W&M has a law school and offers Ph.D. degrees:
http://www.wm.edu/graduate/degrees.php

It's a lot more than just a 4 year college.

So age alone doth not a prestigious university make.

Hmm...I thought we were all joking (at least for the most part). After all, most of us are probably applying RD to Harvard... :) Let's not get too serious, now.

I'm applying RD there :). Although, my heart is set on Yale.

pray tell why do you apply to harvard rd when you're sure about yale

umm...better financial aid.

If you're joking, that's fine...It's just that some of you guys sounded mighty serious, so I was trying to get you all to lighten up. :p

We're serious in that we prefer Yale to Harvard, but we're intelligent enough to recognize that both are wonderful institutions.

EDIT: We're also cool enough to prefer Yale. ;)

"Cool" eh?

Some might think you lack the self cofidence to compete against the very best!

Very best? I have two things to say to you:

1) 9.9

2) Lux

hah!

see, harvard getting upset just proves that yale is better! damn straight! beat that! uh.

oh, and HARVARD STILL SUCKS.

www.harvardsucks.org

hehe...Byerly might need an explanation of my points...:)

Next year will be fun...are you sure you want to defer a year, Alyssa?

And Princetonians (by not joining the fight) must be supremely indifferent to the squabbles of lesser mortals. ;)

hahaha...amusing. Enjoy your artificial US News ranking while it lasts! (I have a feeling we in New Haven will be celebrating next year...after all, 9.9 beats 11.9, doesn't it?)

Ahhh, it's like sibling rivalry...how beautiful. :)

hah! the yale fight song was one of the first ones i ever learned, right with 'pattycake-' it can wait another year. i'll probably be hanging around anyway.

I think we need more Yalies going into film, that way we can put Yale into more movies and make it even more prestigious and famous.

or just hot... jodie fostermmmmm.

Don't start loving Yale or hating Harvard too much, because many of you are applying to both. And some of you who prefer Yale now will end up at Harvard for one reason or another, and then you will find that you LOVE Harvard and you will wonder what were you thinking when you wrote all that anti-Harvard/pro-Yale stuff. And when the big game rolls around you will think more bad thoughts and shout more insults about Yale than you can now possibly imagine.

The same thing but the other way around could be said on the Harvard board.

Nicely said, coureur.

Yalies “diss” Harvard because Yalies love competition. What would Yale be without Harvard. We would have nobody to beat in sporting events. We would also have nobody to ignore when we get destroyed in The Game 35-3. We love this because Yalies love Yale and Yalies love the sting of battle. Many would live sad unfulfilled lives without attacking Harvard. It is personally one of my favorite things to do. If getting “all up in” Harvard’s “grill” is wrong, I don’t want to be right. The Cantabs don’t do the same for one reason and one reason only: the only thing a Harvard student hates more than Yale is Harvard.

An article from the Harvard’s own Crimson:
http://www.thecrimson.com/article.aspx?ref=350153

Read it, believe it. Yale is the best. You “diss” Yale, you “diss” me.
