Hmm...I thought we were all joking (at least for the most part). After all, most of us are probably applying RD to Harvard... :) Let's not get too serious, now.

hahaha...amusing. Enjoy your artificial US News ranking while it lasts! (I have a feeling we in New Haven will be celebrating next year...after all, 9.9 beats 11.9, doesn't it?)

Ahhh, it's like sibling rivalry...how beautiful. :)

hah! the yale fight song was one of the first ones i ever learned, right with 'pattycake-' it can wait another year. i'll probably be hanging around anyway.

Don't start loving Yale or hating Harvard too much, because many of you are applying to both. And some of you who prefer Yale now will end up at Harvard for one reason or another, and then you will find that you LOVE Harvard and you will wonder what were you thinking when you wrote all that anti-Harvard/pro-Yale stuff. And when the big game rolls around you will think more bad thoughts and shout more insults about Yale than you can now possibly imagine.

The same thing but the other way around could be said on the Harvard board.

Yalies diss Harvard because Yalies love competition. What would Yale be without Harvard. We would have nobody to beat in sporting events. We would also have nobody to ignore when we get destroyed in The Game 35-3. We love this because Yalies love Yale and Yalies love the sting of battle. Many would live sad unfulfilled lives without attacking Harvard. It is personally one of my favorite things to do. If getting all up in Harvards grill is wrong, I dont want to be right. The Cantabs dont do the same for one reason and one reason only: the only thing a Harvard student hates more than Yale is Harvard.
