Need an advice...

My name is Charlie and I will be a senior this fall at Florida International University. Right now, I am majoring in Management Information System. MIS attracted me the most because I can work with computers while being in the business world. Ever since I got to the major courses two semester ago, I think it's boring--too complex. Sometimes I can't grasp all the information. I just fall asleep when I read something is not interesting--which is most of it. I am afraid of majoring MIS and not having the confidence and the knowledge when I get a real job after graduation.

Here is what I am thinking:

Option 1: Should I change my major to Management and add another major just as Finance or International Business?

Option 2: Should I stick with MIS (hopefully, it will be interesting later on) and add Management as my second major?

Option 3: Should I stick with MIS and add Finance as my second major?

Thanks,

Charlie

P.S. I do not want to regret it later on in life....

MIS and Finance would be a very interesting combo I think. You would be very versatile.

Accounting and MIS go together MUCH better though.

Do either option 2 or 3... dropping the MIS may prove costly in your future career.

i think option one would work better... do somtin you're interested in... b/c the courses are going to be better later on ... so you'll still be bored and uninterested.... you're talking about your career here... dont settle... take the extra semester or however long it takes and change your major... MIS doesnt seem to fit you... but its your choice... mayb option 2 will work also... anyhow good luck

Why is Accounting and MIS much better together?
