Purdue or Clemson

I’d suggest that you check out the dorm situation carefully before you sign up for one. At a lot of schools, dorms are for freshmen and sophomores while the older students tend to live in apartments off campus.

Some universities have special dorms for visiting students, foreign students, exchange students, etc., and some group the students into dorms by age, so a dorm might still be a good option, but you need to investigate how it works at whichever school you decide to go to. You just don’t want to end up being the only 21-year-old in a dorm full of freshmen.

I would say Purdue or Clemson. These schools provide the perfect academic rigor, have big sports teams, and are classic American universities. You will have a great time, and get a great education along the way. Try not to go too far north, because I’m not sure how you will put up with the weather.

hmmm yes ive heard about this thing called snow and ice…have yet to see it! Good suggestion on the dorms i didnt really think about the age factor that could be pretty annoying… Purdue and Clemson seem to be the winners at the moment, ill have to see how I go.

Is greek life really big at these uni’s?

They seemed to have switched to Roman life.

I’d focus on SDSU, Purdue or Clemson. While SDSU doesn’t have very good sports, I think it would be the most fun out of them all.

San Diego State University & Colorado State University are the top two from your list for natural beauty, outdoor activities & social life.

In my opinion, Purdue is probably the most sport-themed school. Try showing up to some of their basketball games. ;)

About your other question - making friends - just be open and nice to people. Many people entering college are eager to make friends just like you are.

Wow ok Purdue is definitly winning the popularity stakes here, i was kind of leaning towards sdsu but i think ill apply for a couple and see what I get back. Lol ok then I promise to go to a basketball game if i go to Purdue!

Also when does your school year start/finnish? Ours goes from March to Nov/Dec.

For the best American scene, SDSU definitely. It is a hugeeee parrty school. I have to say though it is a lil trashy. You get the california lifestyle, but it’s not too nice of a neighborhood, but the school is gorgeous. The gym is to die for and plenty of hot guys. My parents refused to let me go there, but it’s definitely an awesome school. (I’m a native California girl).

Definitely don’t go to Northern Arizona University

Our school year is usually August-September/ May-June. It can vary though.

I really urge you to go to SDSU, I guarantee you will love it. It’s such a fun campus. You will also be in California, which is amazing within it self. Plus, the beach is about 15minutes.

If you are a party, out-going type of girl, I think it will be perfect for you. I’m not too familiar with Purdue, so I can’t quite say it’s better. But from my experience SDSU is awesome.

Fantastic! yeah i really like the look of SDSU but it really depends on what review you read as to wether its a good one or not…

Lol why not Northern Arizona? Is it like Oklahoma haha

What about minnesota or colorado? any info on those?
