Need an Opinion

Hey guys, I've been looking around on this site for a while now and its extremely helpful. Currently, im in a Kaplan classroom course and from my progress on the practice tests i believe it is helping.

My first test - 560 math, 560 reading, 430 writing (1550)
Second test - 600 math,510 reading (i didnt focus), 590 writing (1700)
3rd test - 640 math,580 reading, 630 writing (1850)

I've read that alot of members on this site think the kaplan course is a waste of money. Do you guys think my scores/progression is relatively accurate to how i would do on the real thing?

personally i haven’t tried their tests but i hear that they are easier.

I’d recommend taking a Blue Book test to see how it compares. That’s the only way I think you’ll really be able to tell.

Yea true, ill be sure to do that this weekend. I just ordered the bluebook, along with workbooks from barrons (critical reading, Math, and Writing) What are your opinions on these workbooks?

useless, useless, and useless.

srsly, just stick with the BB.

I’ve only ever used Blue Book and some real tests from a couple years ago my counselor gave me and that served me quite well.

Oh, wow…I am aiming for a 2000. You believe the BB alone will get me in that score range? As you can see my Critical reading really needs improvement. thanks for all the replies guys.

Well guys, i took a blue book test today and it seemed similar to my kaplan tests. I have a question however, my score ranges are huge.

For example:
Critical reading - 610-670
Writing - 580-710
Math - 580 - 640

Should i just find the average of the range? thanks guys

Yep. Just take the average.
